Seaside Mac

About Arie & Her Recipes

You’ve made it over to my blog I’m so excited!! I go by the name Chef Arie but Looli is fine too. My dad used to call me that growing up, don’t ask me why because I have no clue. However, you’re here with me and I’m so happy to be sharing my experiences with you.

My entire life I’ve always wanted to be a chef and as I got older the desire never changed. My cuisine and style of cooking is inspired by my Jamaican and Bahamian heritage from both of my parents. While in college, I decided to start a business called Looli’s where I sold food out of my mother’s home to gain exposure and make some extra money. After getting my degree in Hospitality Management I went to work in the largest hotel kitchen in Georgia. The job was cut short due to the pandemic, and it pushed me back into my personal business.

The things I share with you all are from my palate references to amazing food. Food is something that connects us all and I think it’s important to share what I experience through my cultural heritage, travels, and creativity. Ultimately, I want to live out my dreams and you being on this blog allows me to do just that
